Hi everyone

We are now in Rome after spending an awesome four days relaxing on the Amalfi coast. We were staying in a town called Positano in a family run BnB "Caste Celeste". The family were so lovely and made us breakfast every morning; fresh home made breads, jams and some of the best coffee.

We had perfect weather, blue skies everyday and an average temp of 27-33 degrees Celsius. The view from our room and around the town was breath taking. White homes, restaurants, shops and churches scattered the mountain side right down to the waters edge.

We made the most of the beautiful weather and spent most days relaxing and reading on the beach. Dipping in the ocean to cool off. The family who owned the BnB also ran the bar/cafe on the beach so we hung out there often for lunch.

While we were there the town held its annual festival "San Vito Martire". All the local dogs attended the catholic service and were blessed afterwards by the priest! There was a marching band that walked through the town, lots of music, food and a great fireworks display!

We loved Positano! We met lots of great people and just enjoyed being together on the beach. We are really starting to work on our Summer in Europe tans!

We caught the ferry along the coast and the train to Rome where we are currently staying in a young couples apartment right near the main station (thanks airbnb.com!)
