Hello Everyone!

Greetings from Bari, Italy. The last few days have been hectic to say the least!

We have arrived safe and sound here after a 5 day tour of Croatia. Our first stop was Plitvice National Park which is home to some of the most amazing lakes/waterfalls I have ever seen.

This park is made up of around 16 crystal clear lakes with the most beautiful turquoise colour and around 99 awesome waterfalls with boardwalks leading in and around. We only had two hours here but this was certainly a highlight of our tour.

Next we headed to Trogir and Split where we were shown around both these towns, enjoyed some Gelato and were amazed by the age of some of the buildings (Diocletian's Palace in Split was built around 300AD). We also had the good fortune of staying at the Radisson Blu in Split which was a treat in itself with amazing food and views.

Split - With Merlin the Wizard!

We have just finished with two nights in Dubrovnik (including a drive through and lunch in Bosnia) and tours of the old city, a walk around it's walls and general relaxing, swimming in the Adriatic and working on our European tan's!

After a 7 hour Ferry ride from Dubrovnik inclusive of multiple groups of Italian ladies holding impromptu services and singing in unison and either talking loudly or snoring loudly pretty much consistently we are now in Bari for an overnight stay before we head to Naples in the morning.

Until next time, hope all is well at home.

Oh and while I think of it on the way from Plitvice to Split Willy the Wombat took on a fully grown Brown Bear, he is still recovering from this somewhat traumatic experience.
